ART/Graston

Active Release Techniques (ART)– This is a method that focuses on relieving soft tissue tension via the removal of fibrosis/adhesions which are created due to overuse or repetitive use. ART has a 3 fold design: to restore free and unimpeded motion of all soft tissues. To release entrapped nerves, vasculature and lymphatics. To reestablish optimal texture, resilience and function to the soft tissue.

Graston– uses unique handheld instruments with a specialized form of massage called cross friction. Utilizing this technique, the practitioner is re-introducing small amounts of trauma to the affected area. This can cause inflammation to the area which helps initiate and promote the healing process.
